The Indonesian National Armed Forces accompanies pregnant KDKMP prospective manager education participants

Commander of the Indonesian Army Health Center  Health Education Center  Colonel  Shohibul Hilmi confirmed that two prospective managers of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative  who are pregnant will receive special assistance.

This is done to ensure that pregnant participants remain healthy and can complete the educational material.

"These two students are being accompanied by qualified midwifery health personnel to continuously monitor their progress. Thank God, so far, there have been no complaints, and they have been able to participate safely and smoothly," Shohibul said when met by media crews at the Army Health Education and Training Center.

Shohibul explained that the pregnancy was only discovered after the two students and other students underwent a health check before starting their education at his institution.

After being found out that they were pregnant, the coach put a special blue mark on the student's right arm as a sign that they needed special health attention.

According to Shohibul, pregnant participants are not permitted to participate in activities outside of class, such as sports and marching regulations (PBB).

They are also allowed to check their pregnancy health at the Indonesian Army hospital facility which is not far from the educational location.

"They are accompanied by regular weekly check-ups with an obstetrician and receive supplements to ensure the continued health of their pregnancy," said Shohibul.

Not only for participants who are pregnant, Shohibul ensures that participants who have a history of certain diseases will also receive special attention from the medical team.

It was noted that there were 12 participants who had a history of illness and received special attention from the trainer.

With this special service, Shohibul hopes that all participants will remain healthy and the educational process can run smoothly.
