In Africa, the number of millionaires increased by 4.1% last year. Morocco led the way with a growth of over 16%.


The world has 25.3 million millionaires. Their number increased by 7.9% in 2025, representing 2 million more than in 2024. This is according to a report by Capgemini entitled "World Wealth Report 2026," published on Thursday.


Their wealth has also continued to grow, reaching $98.3 trillion according to Capgemini's World Wealth Report 2026.

A person is considered a millionaire if they have more than one million dollars that can be invested, excluding their primary residence in particular.
