Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia, announced that the Eastern Economic Forum 2026 in the Russian city of Vladivostok will see the participation of 75 countries.

This came during a press conference held by Trutnev on Friday, in which he reviewed the results of his official visit to the Far East region.

Trutnev told reporters: "Regarding foreign delegations to the forum, 75 countries participated in the tenth edition last year, and we expect the number of participants to remain at the same level, and not less than that."

The 2026 Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok, in Russia’s Far East, from September 1 to 4. The event has been held annually since 2015.

Given the location of the Russian city of Vladivostok, Asian countries are the most prominent participants in the economic forum, which aims to attract investments to the Russian Far East.
