The non-governmental organization Gun Violence Archive announced that the number of people killed in shootings in the United States during Independence Day celebrations reached 100.
The organization stated in a post on the social networking site "X" on Monday that the number of shooting incidents during the Independence Day holiday in the United States reached 20 incidents, which is considered a record since 2021.
She added that the incidents resulted in the death of 100 people and injuries to 340 others over three days.
The organization noted that this data is preliminary and may be modified later.
It is worth noting that the United States celebrated its 250th anniversary on July 4th.
