Negotiations between Turkish club Besiktas and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah have entered a crucial stage, amid continued disagreement over some financial terms, despite the two sides being close to reaching a final agreement.
According to the Turkish newspaper Sabah, Besiktas management has made its final offer to Salah and is currently awaiting the player's response, while confirming that it will not make any further improvements to the financial offer.
Reports indicated that Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, agreed to reduce his commission from 7.5 million euros to 5 million euros, but negotiations ran into a new dispute concerning image rights and the agent's percentage of revenue from player shirt sales.

Salah’s team demanded a share of the commercial revenues associated with his name, a demand that was rejected by the Besiktas management, who believe that the value of these demands could reach huge sums close to the player’s own salary if the expected marketing plans are successful.
According to the report, the final offer from the Turkish club, including salary and bonuses, is close to 20 million euros, while Besiktas is relying on advertising revenue and shirt sales to help cover the cost of the deal.
Club officials confirmed that they had done their best, and a new meeting with Ramy Abbas is expected in the coming days to decide the future of the deal, whether by reaching a final agreement or the collapse of negotiations.
