Faroe Islands club Ronavik wrote one of their most exciting nights in European competition, after overturning a deficit against Slovenian side Koper and qualifying for the next round of the Conference European League in dramatic fashion.
The team from the Faroe Islands had lost the first leg 0-2, but rallied in the second leg and achieved a thrilling 3-1 victory, after Piner Nolsoy, Marius Krieger Lind and Michal Przybylski scored the team's goals.
After the two matches ended in a 3-3 aggregate draw, the match went into extra time, where Ronavik managed to score a goal in the 120+2 minute, securing qualification with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory.
The most remarkable goal was scored by Dane Marius Krieger Lind, who, according to available records, became the first one-armed footballer to score a goal in European club competitions since Northern Irishman Jimmy Hastie for Dundalk against Zurich in 1963.
Thus, the two players are separated by approximately 63 years, in an exceptional event that brought to mind the story of Haste, who continued his professional career despite losing his left arm.
