Newspaper reports indicate that the management of Turkish football club Besiktas has begun the search for another winger after its negotiations with Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, former Liverpool player, faltered.

Besiktas club management announced the suspension of negotiations to sign Mohamed Salah due to disagreements over the Egyptian player's image rights.

The Turkish newspaper "Turkey Today" indicated in a report that Italian Federico Chiesa, winger for Liverpool and Salah's former teammate at Anfield, has entered the circle of interest of Besiktas club.

Besiktas manager Vincenzo Italiano is expected to personally intervene in efforts to bring the Italian winger to Türkiye.

Reports indicate that Chiesa is unhappy with his limited playing time at Liverpool, which could open the door to a possible departure from the club.

Federico Chiesa, 28, played only 36 games for Liverpool last season, totaling 726 minutes, during which he scored 3 goals and made 3 assists.
