ARIKSA says Indonesia needs space regulations to achieve independence

The Indonesian Space Association (ARIKSA) stated that specifically designed space regulations are needed so that Indonesia can achieve national independence in the space industry before 2045.

ARIKSA Chairman Adi Rahman Adiwoso said the special regulation is important to create a structured ecosystem with a clear roadmap for national space development.

"We must have a regulatory infrastructure that supports the growth of independent producers, not just consumers. Indonesia needs a 2045 space policy . We hope it can be finalized soon and serve as a blueprint for us in developing our own space capabilities," Adi said.

As an association that accommodates space observers and industry players, ARIKSA views the development of the space sector as a future that needs to be considered because in the future, the development of space technology will determine a country's sovereign rights.
