Former Liverpool manager Arne Slott has decided against coaching Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli Jeddah next season after leaving the Reds.
Mathias Jäsle has left Al Ahly to succeed Eddie Howe, who will leave his position as manager of Newcastle United, thus ending his five years in charge of the team.
According to ESPN, Al-Ahli Saudi FC has sent an offer to coach Slott to succeed Mathias Jäsle, who moved to Newcastle United.
She explained that Slot sent his immediate response and refused to coach Al-Ahly because he wanted to stay in Europe.
She explained that Arne Slott is seeking a return to coaching a club in one of the major European leagues, as clubs in England, Germany and Italy contacted Slott this summer after his departure from Liverpool.
Arne Slot had left Liverpool at the end of last season after winning the English Premier League title in just two seasons and failing to win the rest of the titles.
He took charge of Liverpool in 113 matches, winning 66, losing 29 and drawing 18, with a win rate of 58.4%.
