Honda LCR's replacement rider Cal Crutchlow is confirmed to be competing in the British MotoGP at the Silverstone Circuit on August 9.
The three-time world champion will replace Johann Zarco, who is currently recovering from an injury.
"Cal Crutchlow will continue racing with us at the British MotoGP in front of his home fans," Honda LCR wrote on its Instagram page on Tuesday.
This British racer has been trusted as Zarco's replacement since the Italian MotoGP.
With his Silverstone appearance confirmed, Crutchlow will be back in front of his home fans after his last appearance in the 2021 season.
Crutchlow had a taste of the second podium at Silverstone in the 2016 season after an impressive performance with the Honda LCR.
Additionally, Crutchlow has collected five top-seven finishes at the British Grand Prix, while repeating his best Silverstone results in 2012 (P6), 2013 (P7), 2016 (P2), 2017 (P4), and 2019 (P6).
