British boxer Conor Benn will get his first chance to win a world championship belt when he faces World Boxing Council welterweight champion Ryan Garcia.
"Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn is official," UFC CEO Dana White, who is also the operational head of Zuffa Boxing, said on Zuffa Boxing's official social media accounts, which were monitored.
The two boxers are scheduled to take to the ring on September 12, 2026, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States. The fight is also a major project for Zuffa Boxing, Conor Benn's new promoter, which is backed by Dana White and has investment from Saudi Arabia.
"They've been constantly jabbing at each other on social media and this fight is going to be incredible," White said.
