The Coordinating Ministry for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections is ready to oversee the discussion process of the Draft Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Governance of Aceh in accordance with the mechanism for forming legislation.
When receiving an audience with the Aceh People's Representative Council Coordinating Minister for Law and Human Rights, Imipas Yusril Ihza Mahendra explained that after the Indonesian House of Representatives submitted the bill to the president, the government would prepare a presidential letter to appoint a ministry to represent the government in its discussions with the DPR.
He added that the Coordinating Ministry for Law and Human Rights, Imipas, will also study the substance of the changes in depth, particularly regarding the Special Autonomy Fund (Otsus), the time limit for its implementation, and the regulation of regional authority to align with the special autonomy system in force in Indonesia.
