Cybersecurity observer Pratama Persadha reminded students, parents, and schools to limit the information displayed in School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) posts on social media to reduce the risk of misuse of personal data.

"The principle that needs to be applied is to share just enough information to meet needs, not as much as possible. In cybersecurity, there is a well-known principle of data minimization , which involves sharing only data that is absolutely necessary," said Pratama, head of the cybersecurity research institute CISSReC.
