Team Falcons ID player Livia "Livii" Lemmuela emphasized that her team will bounce back after losing 0-2 to SAETA Esports in the opening match of Group A of the MLBB Women's International 2026 at the Esports World Cup 2026, Paris, France.
"Even though we lost, we will definitely continue to learn. We also lost in the qualifier yesterday, but we bounced back from that defeat. We will bounce back again in the EWC," Livii.
Falcons ID had to concede the Chinese team's dominance throughout the match. In the first game, the Indonesian team struggled to develop their game after being under constant pressure from the start.
SAETA Esports was able to control the tempo of the game and maximize every moment to widen the lead, while Falcons ID didn't get a chance to take the match into the late game phase.
SAETA's dominance continued in the second game. They once again displayed discipline in their rotations and team fight execution, closing the match with a 2-0 lead.
Despite starting the tournament with a defeat, Livii believes the result is a valuable lesson for the teams that qualify for the 2026 MWI through the qualifying round.
