Issa Diop changed his status within Fulham after the remarkable performances he delivered with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup.
English club Fulham rejected an official offer from Italian club Como to sign Moroccan defender Issa Diop during the current summer transfer window.
According to specialized international media reports, Fulham's management no longer views Diop in the same way as it did a few weeks ago, after he established himself as one of the most prominent stars of the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup finals.
Diop had a difficult season under coach Marco Silva, where he spent most of the season as a substitute and was even absent from the team's roster on some occasions.
Despite this, the 28-year-old defender participated in 18 matches across various competitions, including 13 Premier League matches in which he scored one goal, along with three League Cup matches and two FA Cup matches.
