The Egyptian Football Association announced that police officers in Dallas, Texas, bid farewell to the "Pharaohs" national team delegation before their departure to Atlanta.

The Egyptian Football Association said in a post on its X platform page: "Dallas police present the twins with a World Cup badge before their trip to Atlanta."

Police officers in Dallas, Texas, made sure to bid farewell to the Egyptian national team delegation before they headed to Atlanta. They shook hands with Hossam Hassan, the Egyptian national team's coach, and Ibrahim Hassan, the team's manager, and exchanged greetings before the delegation departed.

The Dallas police also presented Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan with police badges, specifically designed to celebrate the police's participation in securing the World Cup, as an expression of their appreciation for the twins.

A scuffle broke out before the Australia match between Ibrahim Hassan and the police because a child tried to cross the security barrier inside the Egyptian national team's hotel, and the security men prevented him.

This prompted Hassan to intervene, leading to an altercation with the policeman.

The Egyptian national team delegation recently arrived in Atlanta after a two-hour flight, to play against Argentina in the round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, on July 7.
