Journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the latest developments regarding the German Football Association's negotiations with Jurgen Klopp to become the national team's coach.
Romano explained that Klopp had reached an agreement to coach the German national team on a long-term contract, while discussions were still ongoing about the possibility of him continuing in his position with Red Bull as head of the football division, which includes several clubs such as Red Bull Salzburg of Austria, New York Red Bulls of the United States, and RB Leipzig of Germany.
He added that the Red Bull group had considered hiring Oliver Glasner as a replacement for Klopp, but the Austrian coach had agreed to join Nottingham Forest.
Klopp will return to coaching again after a three-year absence since leaving his position as Liverpool manager at the end of the 2024 season.
