Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday evening that four Palestinians were killed and at least 15 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of the Strip, in the final tally so far.
Ambulance and emergency sources said an Israeli drone launched an attack on the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in deaths and injuries. The wounded were taken to Nasser Medical Complex.
Sources confirmed the deaths of Youssef Qassem Abu Khater and Mahmoud Al-Brim as a result of the bombing that targeted the Khan Younis area, while another Palestinian died from wounds he sustained in a previous Israeli bombing of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In a related context, two children were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the vicinity of the "Ghaith Camp" in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, according to local sources.
The city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip also witnessed the demolition of buildings by the Israeli army.
In another development, the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City warned of the deteriorating health conditions in the sector, stressing that "public health in the sector is non-existent," and that the severe shortage of medical services and treatments threatens to worsen the humanitarian crisis.
