Head of Information: Members of the South Papuan Armed Forces  declare they are returning to the Republic of Indonesia with firearms

 





  Head of Information for the Koops TNI Habema Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya Artadiguna, said that Yujin Butiop, a member of the Armed Criminal Group  of the South Papua Region led by Marius Murib, had declared his return to the Republic of Indonesia carrying a homemade firearm.

Apart from carrying a homemade long-barreled firearm, Yujin Butiop also handed over the Morning Star flag.

"Yujin Butiop has reportedly declared his return to the Republic of Indonesia carrying a homemade firearm," said Head of Operations for the TNI Habema Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya Artadiguna, Monday.

Contacted from Jayapura, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya said that the leader of the South Papua KKB, Marius Murib, currently resides in Kuem Village, Papua New Guinea .

Yujin Butiop's return to the bosom of Mother Earth was carried  after soldiers from Yonif 403/WP who were on duty at the Rawa Busstop TNI Post, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency approached Yujin.

Rawa Busstop Village, Jair District, Boven Digoel Regency is one of the areas in Papua which is located on the RI-PNG border.

"Through an approach that prioritizes humanity by opening up space for dialogue and building trust, Yujin Butiop, who was previously a member of the KKB led by Marius Murib, declared his return to the Republic of Indonesia," said Lieutenant Colonel Inf Wirya.

He said it was revealed that Yujin, who has four children, hopes that her children can go to school well.
