Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Habiburokhman, said that the Corruption Eradication Commission is supervising the handling of the alleged corruption and money laundering case involving former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah.
Habiburokhman made this statement in response to Mahfud MD, Professor of Law at the Islamic University of Indonesia,'s Faculty of Law, suggesting that the Corruption Eradication Committee take over the handling of the case.
According to Habiburokhman, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the authority to take over the case. However, the anti-corruption agency has been asked to supervise the case's handling process.
