The Indonesian National Police and the Attorney General's Office are strengthening synergy by increasing partnerships and collaboration between the two institutions.
The strengthening was discussed during a visit by National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo along with a number of senior officials of the National Police Headquarters with Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and his staff at the Main Building of the Attorney General's Office.
The Chief of Police revealed that during the meeting, plans for educational exchanges between the Prosecutor's Office and the National Police were discussed so that overall coordination, especially within the criminal justice system, could be improved.
He hopes that the synergy and collaboration between the two law enforcement institutions can help people who need legal services, both in terms of legal certainty and justice.
"What is clear is that the Prosecutor's Office and the police are one big family, and we will continue to ensure the solidarity and synergy that this extended family maintains. Perhaps that's what we will continue to implement together with the Attorney General for our future programs," he said.
Meanwhile, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin emphasized the importance of strengthening the long-standing synergy between the two institutions. He stated that good investigations will result in good prosecutions, and good prosecutions will result in good verdicts.
