Arema FC Women considered their participation in the 2025/2026 Hydroplus Soccer League (HSL) All-Stars a valuable experience, despite their 0-1 loss to Putri Garut in the semifinals at the Supersoccer Arena in Kudus, Central Java, on Saturday.
Arema FC Women's Head Coach Dindin Wahyudin said that his team was actually capable of playing well throughout the match, but Lady Luck was not on their side.
"The team played well against Putri Garut, but that's football, and there's a factor of luck, so we can only accept that," he said after the match.
According to Dindin, the HSL All-Stars is an important platform for measuring team capabilities and providing a comprehensive evaluation of the squad's performance throughout the season.
Dindin assessed that there were still many aspects that needed to be evaluated after the semifinal results.
The experience of facing the best teams in this event will be a valuable asset for Arema FC Women to improve the quality of their game.
After this tournament, the team will shift its focus to facing various high-standard local and national tournaments.
