The I.League has officially announced the calendar for next season's accompanying league competition, the League Cup, which will begin on November 3, 2026, according to an official statement from the I.League.
The League Cup schedule has been designed with the overall domestic and international competition agenda in mind. All group stage matches will be played on weekdays across three matchdays: November 3–5, November 24–26, and December 1–3, 2026.
The knockout stage of the League Cup is scheduled to take place on January 15–17, 2027, followed by the quarter-finals on January 30–31, 2027, where in this round two Indonesian representatives who participated in the AFC inter-club competition joined, namely Persib Bandung and Borneo FC, so that a total of eight teams will be in this round.
These eight teams are competing for tickets to the semifinals which will be held on April 21, 2027 and then the final match on May 19, 2027.
Specifically for the final round, there will be further adjustments to the match date if two Indonesian representatives participating in the AFC inter-club competition and the AFF Shopee Cup advance to the next round and become finalists in the League Cup competition.
