The Indonesian U18 women's national basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 U18 Women's Basketball Asia Cup Division B after defeating Samoa 94-49 at Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday.
Indonesia controlled the match from the first quarter, leading 26-14, then maintained a 50-36 lead until halftime. The Red and White team became even more dominant after the break, limiting Samoa to just nine points in the third quarter to take a 70-45 lead.
The Red and White squad closed the match with a 24-4 run in the final quarter to secure a 45-point victory.
Joanne Giovanni and Yemima Agatha Rahiesa were Indonesia's top scorers, each contributing 15 points. They also collected a total of 10 rebounds.
Inez Angelina Welly added 14 points, three rebounds, and six assists, while Ariqa Shafa Chayyara recorded 13 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
