Indonesia failed to reach the final of the U18 Women's Asian Cup

The Indonesian U18 women's national basketball team failed to advance to the final of the 2026 FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup Division B after losing 54-76 to Lebanon in the semifinal match at Nimibutr Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand.

Based on FIBA statistics, Indonesia had to abandon its hopes of reaching the final because Lebanon played more effectively from the start and maintained its lead until the end.

Paul Coughter's team immediately put on the pressure from the first quarter. Lebanon capitalized on quick transitions and efficient finishing, ending the opening quarter with a 25-17 lead over Fredy's Indonesia.

Entering the second quarter, the Indonesian women attempted to catch up through more disciplined play on both sides of the field.

The effort resulted in both teams scoring 13 points in the quarter, but Lebanon maintained a 38-30 lead at halftime.
