Indonesia is sending three singles players and nine pairs to compete in all events at the 2026 China Open at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou, China, from July 21–26.
In the men's singles there are Jonatan Christie and Alwi Farhan, while the women's singles are represented by Putri Kusuma Wardani.
Indonesia also fielded three men's doubles teams: Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin. Meanwhile, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi played in the women's doubles.
Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja, and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah will play in mixed doubles.
The China Open is a Super 1000 tournament, one level higher than the Japan Open, which has Super 750 status. The tournament has a total prize pool of two million US dollars (Rp. 36 billion).
Fajar/Fikri came to Changzhou as the defending champions, having just won the 2026 Japan Open after defeating world number one pair Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae 21-19, 21-17.
As second seeds, Fajar/Fikri will open their title defense against Huang Di/Liu Yang in the first round.
