 Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said in a special statement to  “We will follow the path of our martyred leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei), and we will avenge his blood in the appropriate manner, and in a way that serves the interests of our people and our country.”

This comes as funeral ceremonies for the former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei , continue in Tehran.

Regarding the message conveyed by the participation of these massive crowds, Mohajerani, addressing America and Israel, said: “I tell them, you must understand what the Iranian people are like, and realize which people you are confronting.”

Regarding whether Iran would continue negotiations with the Americans, the Iranian official declined to answer, saying: “I don’t want to answer that question now.”

Large crowds of Iranians from all provinces flocked to the Imam Khomeini prayer hall in the Iranian capital, for the second day in a row , on Sunday, July 5, to pay their farewells.

On Sunday morning, prayers were held for Khamenei and several members of his family, and his grand funeral will take place on Monday, July 6, amid escalating calls for revenge and emphasis on the unity of the battlefields between Iran and its allies.

Regarding this matter, the governor of Isfahan, Jamali Nejad, stated to “We are certain that the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the positions of Imam Khomeini, our martyred leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei), and our new leader (Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei), are all positions that move in one context against injustice and against arrogance.”

He added: “In Iran, we consider ourselves, along with the axis of resistance, as one body, whether in Lebanon, Iraq, or Yemen. We are certain that we are all one soul in one body.”

Meanwhile, Tehran is preparing for the largest funeral procession in Iran’s history on Monday, followed by funeral ceremonies in the city of Qom on July 6, continuing on Wednesday in the Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala, before the body returns to Mashhad, the birthplace of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, on Thursday, to be buried there.
