Palestinian medical sources reported that "7 Palestinian citizens were martyred" on Tuesday, by Israeli army fire and shelling in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that more than 20 others sustained varying injuries, coinciding with the continuation of shelling and shooting operations targeting civilians, fishermen, and displaced people.
Medical sources reported that "the young man Imran Abu Jarad was martyred after a tent was targeted on the beach of Gaza City, while the engineer Muhammad Imad Abu Ta’ima was martyred in a bombing west of Khan Yunis."
It confirmed “the martyrdom of citizen Waheed Barham Khalil Abu Salem in a raid that targeted the Jorat al-Aqqad area in the center of Khan Yunis, while Alaa Sabri Breika was martyred by the bullets of the occupation forces in the Fash Farsh area of Mawasi Rafah.”
In the evening, an Israeli drone strike targeting a civilian vehicle near the governorate building in the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, resulted in the "martyrdom of Hamza Abdullah al-Deiri and Ahmed Jihad Daghmash, and the injury of three others, including a child."
In a related context, a number of Palestinians were injured in a raid carried out by a drone near the entrance to the Al-Sumoud camp west of Khan Younis. Five citizens were also injured, with injuries ranging from moderate to serious, as a result of gunfire from a quadcopter in the Fash Farsh area of Mawasi Rafah. Meanwhile, ambulance crews transported nine other injuries to the Red Cross field hospital as a result of gunfire from Israeli vehicles southeast of Mawasi Rafah.
Israeli forces also targeted tents of displaced people in Rafah, and gunboats opened fire on fishermen off the coast of Khan Yunis, while fishermen’s committees announced the arrest of a number of fishermen in the sea in the central Gaza Strip, before two of them reached the Nuseirat beach with their hands tied after their release.
Israeli forces continue their bombing and targeting operations throughout the Gaza Strip, amid warnings of worsening humanitarian conditions and a continued rise in the number of victims.
