Indonesian men's singles badminton player Jonatan Christie has not set a target for the 2026 China Open tournament.
"My expectation is to just enjoy playing. I want to reverse the performance I had at the Indonesia Open and before," said Jojo after the match at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Changzhou.
According to Jojo, as he is familiarly known, he just wants to enjoy every match and hopes to rediscover his best form in the BWF Super 1000 tournament.
Jojo secured his place in the quarterfinals after being forced to play three games by Singapore's singles player Loh Kean Yew, 12-21, 21-6, and 21-13 in the round of 16 match.
Non-technical obstacles, he continued, regarding strong wind
on the field were still an important note at the tournament.
