Manchester United has reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos in this summer's transfer window.
According to , the Red Devils will pay a transfer fee of 48 million pounds (Rp1.05 trillion) plus 2 million pounds in bonuses which are considered easy to meet.
Chelsea also retain a 10 percent sell-on clause for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Santos have agreed personal terms with Manchester United and have received permission from Chelsea to complete the transfer.
Santos is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2030 and has attracted interest from several clubs. However, the versatile midfielder opted to join Manchester United in order to gain regular playing time.
Chelsea actually consider Santos to have potential for the future, but his chances of starting are becoming increasingly slim after Moises Caicedo extended his contract until 2033 last April.
