New Persib Bandung player Luka Menalo admitted he was impressed by the fanaticism of his team's supporters, Bobotoh, who attended the training session at the Pendamping Field of the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium.
Persib is one of the most famous clubs in Southeast Asia, and it's really, really exciting to be here and experience this. When you finish training, there are almost 2,000 people waiting for you. It's something extraordinary.
Menalo joined Persib from his native Bosnia and Herzegovina, FK Sarajevo. The 29-year-old winger played half a season there, making 21 appearances, scoring three goals and assisting three more.
Before joining FK Sarajevo, Menalo had a rich history in Croatian football, where he played for four clubs, including giants Dinamo Zagreb, for whom he made 91 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists.
