Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid said the Aceh Tamiang District Land Office , which was previously unusable due to damage caused by the hydrometeorological disaster that occurred at the end of November 2025, is now operating normally to serve the public.
"Now services to the public are back in operation," said Nusron in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday.
The Aceh Tamiang District Office was one of the offices worst affected by the flood and landslide disaster in 2025.
According to Nusron, land services were transferred to Langsa City so that the public could still receive maximum service.
"Now we can resume operations here. At that time, services were delayed for about two months due to post-disaster conditions and forced evacuation," he said.
Minister Nusron saw several parts of the building that had been damaged, including the land archive storage room.
He believes that the post-disaster recovery process can be used simultaneously to strengthen land archive management through digitalization.
With digitization and the use of microfilm, land data is expected to remain secure in the event of a disaster so that services to the public can be restored more quickly.
Even though it is already operating to serve the public, he said the process of restoring the Aceh Tamiang Regency Kantah is still ongoing in stages.
The building and supporting facilities will continue to be repaired to ensure the public's comfort while receiving services. Minister Nusron expressed his appreciation for all parties who supported the rehabilitation plan for the Aceh Tamiang Regency Office.
