Napoli appoints Massimiliano Allegri as coach until 2029

 




  Italian Serie A club Napoli has officially appointed Massimiliano Allegri as head coach of the first team with a contract valid until June 30, 2029.

In an announcement on the club's official website on Friday, Napoli said they welcomed Allegri, who will lead the first team starting next season.

Allegri's appointment is part of Napoli's preparations for the 2026/2027 season, with the aim of competing at the top of Italian and European football.

Allegri returned to Napoli after playing for the club in the 1997/1998 season.

Allegri's coaching career began in the 2003/2004 season. He gained prominence when he led Sassuolo to their first promotion to Serie B in the 2007/2008 season and also won the Serie C1 Super Cup.
