Al Ahly announced that its new stadium in Sheikh Zayed City will be named "Vodafone Stadium" during a ceremony held at the foot of the Giza Pyramids to announce the signing of the largest sponsorship deal in the history of the Egyptian club.

The announcement coincided with the signing of a four-year strategic partnership agreement between Al Ahly and Vodafone, making the company the club's main sponsor, and the new stadium will bear its name as part of the agreement.

Al-Ahly officials confirmed that the partnership with Vodafone is not limited to advertising aspects, but extends to the implementation of investment and marketing projects aimed at strengthening the club’s financial resources and supporting its future plans.

The naming of the stadium as "Vodafone Stadium" marks a new milestone in the Al-Ahly Stadium project in Sheikh Zayed City, which is considered one of the largest sports projects in Egypt and the region, and aims to provide an integrated sports facility that enhances the club's standing at the continental and international levels.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Al-Ahly and Egyptian sports stars, along with officials from Vodafone and the United Sports Company, which played a role in finalizing the agreement.

The club confirmed that this partnership represents the beginning of a new phase in maximizing commercial and investment returns, reflecting Al-Ahly's great marketing value locally, continentally and globally.
