The Spanish League (La Liga) has announced the dates for the first three rounds of matches, with a number of matches postponed due to the participation of international players in the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
The Spanish League for the new season (2026-2027) will begin on August 15, 2026, with Alaves hosting Getafe, and Rayo Vallecano visiting Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid will begin their league campaign on Wednesday, August 19, against Malaga.
