Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini stated that strengthening the National Research and Innovation Agency is key to accelerating national research and innovation.
Rini stated that adaptive, effective organizational arrangements aligned with statutory provisions are essential to strengthening the national research ecosystem and supporting the achievement of a development agenda based on science, technology, and innovation.
"Organizational restructuring is not just about changing the structure, but also ensuring that each function runs optimally, complements each other, and is able to respond to national research and innovation, as well as producing an organization that is increasingly effective, adaptive, and collaborative," Rini said in a written statement.
This was conveyed by Rini when receiving an audience with the Head of BRIN Arif Satria at the Ministry of PANRB Building.
He hopes that the organizational restructuring will accelerate the creation of a research and innovation ecosystem that supports national competitiveness and national development.
Strengthening BRIN's institutional framework needs to be directed towards increasing organizational effectiveness, including strengthening research, innovation, space, and nuclear energy functions in an integrated manner.
During the hearing, Rini also emphasized that every organizational arrangement must remain guided by statutory provisions and avoid overlapping tasks and functions between organizational units.
