The Indonesian Boxing Association expressed its satisfaction with Indonesian boxing, which achieved its first success in 34 years by winning gold medals at the 2026 Asian U19 and U23 Boxing Championships.
The Indonesian national boxing team won seven medals at the Asian Boxing Games, held for the first time in Indonesia. The seven medals included Anggie Intania Chalik, a gold medal in the women's U19 light flyweight (45-48 kg), and Dira Artika, a silver medal in the women's U19 featherweight (57 kg).
Meanwhile, five bronze medals were won by Linda Sarui Langi Malin (women's minimum class U23/45-48kg), Maria Mesita Manguntu (women's light welterweight class U23/65kg), and Rliko Praveg (men's cruiserweight class U23/85kg), Joshua Toni Marties Lahin (men's lightweight class U19/60kg), and Viktor Wengkang (men's welterweight class U19/65kg).
