Persib has signed Montenegrin striker Balsa Sekulic on a contract until 2028

Persib Bandung has officially signed Montenegrin striker Balsa Sekulic to strengthen its squad for the 2026/2027 season, signing a two-year contract until 2028.

Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, Adhitia Putra Herawan, said Sekulic's recruitment was the result of a recommendation from the coaching team after an evaluation process of the squad's needs ahead of the new season.

"We're building the squad based on the team's needs and recommendations from the coaching staff. After Andrew Jung decided to continue his career with another club, we started looking for someone with the character, qualities, and experience that fit Persib's needs," said Adhitia in Bandung.

According to him, Sekulic is considered to have the capacity to strengthen the Blue Prince's front line after the club mapped the team's needs to face competition in domestic and Asian competitions.

The 28-year-old's arrival is a strategic step for Persib to increase their attacking power and complement the squad they have prepared for the 2026/2027 season.
