PT Pertamina Gas is expanding access to learning for children through the Jakarta Discovery Day activity in commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) 2026 by involving 25 elementary school students from communities around its operational area to participate in learning experiences outside the classroom.
Pertagas Corporate Secretary Sulthani Adil Mangatur said the activity was the company's effort to provide a wider learning space for children through the active involvement of workers as volunteers.

Through this activity, participants are invited to explore various icons and historical areas in using the open-top bus as part of an out-of-class learning experience.
According to him, this activity provides an opportunity for children to learn about the history, culture, and diversity of the capital city directly, while also encouraging them to ask questions, explore, and see their surroundings from a new perspective.
This activity is part of the Employee Volunteerism program entitled "One Smile, a Million Energies" which is run through the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility program.
Sulthani said the program encourages workers to contribute directly to the community by sharing their time and experiences, and strengthening collaboration between companies and communities to create sustainable social impact.
