The General Chairman of the DPP of the National Awakening Party Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin inaugurated the formation of a disaster organization, namely the National Care Action Synergy at the Education and Training Center of the National Disaster Management Agency, Bogor Regency.
"There's a new organization called Sigap Bangsa. This organization was formed to anticipate and be an effective organization in disaster management," said Cak Imin in a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Saturday.
In addition, he said, the formation of Sigap Bangsa is a new step by PKB in strengthening community involvement in the field of disaster management.
"We hope more people will get involved in disaster management. I'm confident that disaster management methods, techniques, and strategies in Indonesia will become more advanced," he said.
