Cyclist Tadej Pogacar continued his dominance by winning the 14th stage of the 2026 Tour de France , strengthening his position as the holder of the yellow jersey.
The 14th stage, which runs from Mulhose to Le Markstein Fellering, was the fourth stage won by the defending champion in this year's Tour de France.
The UAE Emirates XRG rider from Slovenia attacked on the final climb of the Col du Haag before riding solo to the finish line.
"Today I have to thank all the fans who came to the roadside. It was unforgettable. I've never seen anything like it," Pogacar said, as quoted by the Tour de France website on Sunday.
The victory marked Pogacar's 25th career stage win in the Tour de France, equaling the record of French legend Andre Leducq. He now sits just behind the three riders with the most stage wins: Mark Cavendish (35), Eddy Merckx (34), and Bernard Hinault (28).
"We had been targeting this stage from the start. I felt really good and took advantage of the opportunity in the last two kilometers," said Pogacar.
