President Prabowo Subianto praised the achievements of Indonesian Army soldiers who for the 13th consecutive time succeeded in bringing home the champion title and trophy in the Australian Army Skills at Arms Meeting international shooting competition at the Puckapunyal Military Range in Victoria, Australia.
In the competition held every 2 years, the Indonesian contingent consisting of Indonesian Army soldiers has consistently dominated the multinational shooting championship for at least the last 26 years.
"Our army, the Indonesian Army, has been the overall champion in the Australian shooting competition 13 times. 13 times, yes, 13 times. 13 times. The competition is held every two years. So, imagine, brother, 26 years old, the Indonesian army is the Asia Pacific shooting champion, who participated (in the competition, ed.) Australian army, American army (United States), Japanese army, Vietnamese army, armies of great nations, Malaysian army, Singaporean army," said President Prabowo while giving a speech at the simultaneous launch of five new dams at the Meninting Dam, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Friday.
