Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs asks the National Police and the Attorney General's Office to strengthen synergy

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs  Djamari Chaniago has asked the National Police and the Attorney General's Office to strengthen synergy in law enforcement following the dynamics of handling cases involving the two institutions.

"We are maintaining synergy and coordination between agencies. Communication must be continuously developed to prevent potential misunderstandings. Fundamentally, the National Police, the Attorney General's Office, and other law enforcement institutions share the same goal: to uphold the law and uphold justice," Djamari said in an official press release received.

Djamari made this statement in response to the dynamics that occurred between the National Police and the Attorney General's Office in handling corruption cases.

According to Djamari, each law enforcement institution has its own authority in enforcing the law. Therefore, synergy and coordination need to be continuously strengthened to prevent overlapping duties.
