PSSI considers Mitchell a valuable addition to the national team's front line

The Chairman of the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir, said that Mitchell Baker, who has officially become an Indonesian citizen (WNI), is a valuable addition to strengthen the front line of the Indonesian national football team.

"With his impressive physique and goal-scoring instincts, Mitchell is a valuable addition to our forward line," Erick.

Mitchell officially became an Indonesian citizen after taking the oath of Indonesian citizenship at the Office of the Directorate General of General Legal Administration, Ministry of Law, in Jakarta, which was attended by Erick Thohir along with Members of the PSSI Executive Committee and the Chairman of the National Team Body.

Erick thanked President Prabowo, the DPR, the leadership and members of Commission X and XIII.

He also appreciated the Minister of Law and the Director General of AHU who had facilitated the naturalization process very well.

This strong synergy between the government, legislature, and federation, he said, is a concrete manifestation of a shared commitment to continue advancing Indonesian football on the international stage.

Mitchell is part of PSSI's strategic move to strengthen the depth of the Indonesian national team squad.
