Indonesian male rock climber Tri Ramadani secured a place in the men's lead final of the 2026 World Climbing Series Chamonix in France after finishing sixth in the semifinals on Sunday.
Putra, who is familiarly known as Srondeng, collected a score of 37+ to secure one of the eight final tickets, according to the organizing body World Climbing.
This result placed him below Luka Potocar who topped the semifinals with a score of 38+, Sam Avezou with 38, Alberto Gines Lopez 37+, Satone Yoshida 37+, and Dohyun Lee 37+, and above Sorato Anraku with 36+ and Zento Murashita with 35+.
Srondeng performed brilliantly, displaying incredible finger strength as he navigated a difficult series of crimps . Although he ultimately fell after reaching a 37+ hold, this achievement briefly propelled him to first place, before being overtaken by the next climber.
He displaced Luka Potocar, who was at the top with 37 points, thanks to the additional "plus" points on the last grip he managed to master.
Their success in qualifying for the final continues Srondeng's impressive performance in the 2026 season.
