Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, stressing the need to spare the region the consequences of the attacks and to continue on the path of dialogue.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement: “The State of Qatar strongly condemns the repeated Iranian attacks on the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, and the sisterly State of Kuwait, and considers them a blatant violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a flagrant breach of the rules of international law.”

The statement added: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the need to spare the region the consequences of unjustified attacks, to continue on the path of dialogue and diplomacy, and to reduce escalation, in a way that contributes to consolidating security and stability at the regional and international levels."

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated "the State of Qatar's full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait, and its support for all measures taken by them to preserve their sovereignty and security."

This condemnation comes at a time when Iranian attacks on US bases in the Gulf states continue, with the Kuwaiti armed forces announcing they had intercepted aerial targets within Kuwaiti airspace.

The Bahraini Armed Forces General Command had previously reported that Bahraini air defense systems intercepted and destroyed missiles and drones launched from Iran towards the Kingdom on Tuesday morning.
