Real Madrid confirmed in a statement on the club's website that they have signed Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan.
Real Madrid stated in the announcement that they had agreed with Inter Milan to sign Dumfries on a four-year contract that will run until the end of the 2030 season.
On the other hand, Inter Milan thanked Dumfries after his departure to Real Madrid, explaining that the Spanish club paid the penalty clause in the Dutch international's contract, amounting to 25 million euros.
Dumfries signed a contract with Inter Milan during the summer of 2021, coming from PSV Eindhoven for 14 million euros.
Dumfries shone with Inter Milan, where the right-back participated in 207 matches with the Italian club in all competitions, scoring 27 goals, in addition to providing 28 assists.
Dumfries became Real Madrid's fourth signing this summer, following the free transfers of Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate, as well as the €55 million signing of Marc Cucurella from Chelsea.
