Mercedes driver George Russell said it was impossible to challenge his teammate Kimi Antonelli's dominance at the Belgian Grand Prix held at Spa-Francorchamps.
Russell went through the qualifying session on Saturday night WIB feeling frustrated because he couldn't find the car's speed performance according to his wishes.
"It feels good to be honest. But we've been dealing with straight-line speed issues since Silverstone, and we think we've found the problem - changing it, it's not the problem," Russell said of his potential fight against Kimi Antonelli, as quoted by Formula 1, Sunday.
"We thought it was driving style, and trying different driving styles wasn't the solution. The losses are astronomical at the moment, but after looking at the data, I feel positive about the work I've done," added the British driver.
