Russia's first wedding of two robots: Artificial intelligence meets the traditions of love and loyalty

In the heart of the Russian capital, where the walls of the Pushkin Library carry the scent of classics, a new chapter of humanity's future is being written, not with the ink of poets this time, but with flashes of the light of algorithms.

On July 9, Russia will witness for the first time a wedding of a special kind, as two robots, the smart blogger "Robert" and the robotic ballerina "Matilda," will announce vows of loyalty with voices generated through speech synthesis technologies, and texts specially formulated for them by artificial intelligence algorithms, in a scene that embodies the language of the future meeting the present.

The two robots had previously appeared as electronic stars during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, before becoming guests at the prestigious Pushkin Library, which was chosen by the Moscow Department of Culture to host this unique event, in a meeting that combines the heritage of classical literature with the modernity of artificial intelligence technologies.

In the library halls, under the supervision of the officiant, the two robots will exchange vows and light bracelets that mimic wedding rings, while a robotic pet, the dog "Dogmatic," accompanies them to make the scene more intimate.

The robots' movements will be accurately simulated via remote control technology, with the operator using virtual reality glasses to guide their steps. Robert will move with a combination of kung fu skills, while Matilda will appear with grace inspired by ballet, in an experiment that seeks to reimagine the concept of human-machine interaction.

The event will not be limited to the show aspect, as the new "robotic family" will donate a collection of books specializing in modern technologies and artificial intelligence to the Pushkin Library, coinciding with the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in Russia, in a symbolic reference to the overlap of human heritage with the developments of the digital age.
