World No. 1 tennis player Jannik Sinner achieved a significant milestone in his career by recording his 100th Grand Slam victory and defending his 2026 Wimbledon title.
Sinner secured the achievement after defeating Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final on Monday WIB to win the title.
The victory made the 24-year-old Italian the eighth active player to reach 100 Grand Slam wins.
Sinner now has a record of 100 wins and 22 losses at Grand Slams, with a winning percentage of 82 percent.
Among active players who have reached 100 Grand Slam wins, only Djokovic has a higher winning percentage, at 87.6 percent.
Sinner's form has become increasingly impressive over the past two and a half seasons. Since claiming his 39th Grand Slam victory at the 2024 Australian Open, he has recorded 62 wins and six losses, a win rate of 91.2 percent.
